This amplifier is suitable to be use with IRIS500 IRX2 IP and Ex if it is installed in safe area.
The IRIS 500 MAD amplifier is composed of
M= Motherboard, code M502
A= Analogboard, code A503
D= Digitalboard, code D504
The amplifier is composed basically of motherboard and analogboard, but when discrimination is difficult, for example between adjacent and frontal flames, digital board is necessary because it will accurately define the flame-out ratio with respect to the burner and the adjacent or opposite burners. The flame signal can be an analog 0 - 20mA on analogboard or/and a four digit LED display on digitalboard.
